The top, back, and side woods used in the construction of this stunning tenor ukulele are solid, Master Grade 5A Curly Koa.  This wood is highly figured  and has been book matched and joined possessing a light colored sap wood stripe at the lower center (front and back).  The overall beauty of this wood is accented and highlighted with a solid, hand carved, flamed maple neck featuring an ebony fretboard and matching bridge.  This instrument also possesses an open headstock and “Beachcomber” style side sound port.  Inside this instrument, the hand carved fan bracing, accompanied with the ‘warm” nature of the Koa wood, produces excellent overall sustain and tonal qualities.  This ukulele is a true gem!
