This beautiful African Padauk, Avodire (African Satin Wood) and Walnut 12 Note Tongue Drum can be played by just about anyone; whether you're wanting to play a soothing melody or actually play along with a song you already know.  Because this is a "Chorded" instrument there are no “wrong notes” all twelve notes can be played totally random and will truly compliment each other.

This instrument is 100% hand crafted using the finest materials.  The exotic African Padauk top was chosen for the wood's natural musical abilities. Each of the tines, making the twelve individual notes, are precision computer cut and painstakingly tuned by hand.  To top it all off the drum is assembled and finished with a durable hand rubbed satin finish.  The finished drum sits atop four over sized one half inch thick felt pads to ensure you have a solid vibration free experience

This instrument measures approximately 18” long, 8” wide, 8” tall and weighs 9.5 pounds.  Each drum is sold with a pair felt mallets to get you started.

Please keep in mind, even though the top face board has been sealed inside and out, humidity and temperature can impact the tuning slightly.  Each drum will be sold with a guide as to the location of each note.
