This is one special ukulele from its warm sassy tone, velvety hand rubbed satin finish to the absolute work of art that it truly is.  The back and side woods selected for the construction of this tenor ukulele are beautiful  solid "old growth" pistachio that was salvaged from commercial Pistachio nut groves in Northern California. The front soundboard was also created using 100% salvage sourced old growth  AAA Grade BearClaw figured Sitka Spruce from the state of Alaska.  To put it all together we have a hand carved neck crafted from Sipo Mahogany known for its luxurious grain qualities. Stylized into the up side of this instruments body is the addition of a side sound port in the shape of a breaking wave identifying it as a "Surfs Up" model.  Inside this instrument, the hand carved fan bracing, accompanied with the BearClaw Spruce and Pistachio produces a velvety sound with excellent overall sustain and tonal qualities. This ukulele has been finished with an ultra-hard lacquer that has been hand rubbed to an unbelievable silky smooth satin finish. This ukulele is a true gem!
